Diagonal Group and Fabit cooperate
Fabit, the digital coach for better money habits, and the Diagonal Group are cooperating. The aim of the cooperation is to actively support people who have difficulties managing their finances and build healthy money habits. To this end, the Diagonal Group is integrating the independent Fabit app into its customer communication as an additional offering.
Whoever has problems with money often feels left alone. If a debt collection letter then arrives, it often leads to a feeling of powerlessness for those affected. To counteract this, Diagonal Group offers its customers Fabit, a low-threshold and free service.
Especially in difficult times like the ones we are currently experiencing, it is important to focus more on your own financial management. Rising energy and living costs are affecting many people in Germany. "It can happen that a bill is forgotten or cannot be paid due to a lack of money. However, it is all the more important to make people aware of offers of help that support them in managing their budget and their finances," explains Holger Kück, Managing Director and Head of Risk & Payment at the Diagonal Group. "By cooperating with Fabit, we are doing exactly that and living up to our responsibility as a company. Our respectful and empathetic approach to our creditors' defaulting customers is perfectly complemented by the cooperation with Fabit."
The independent and free Fabit app helps consumers to get their finances in order. Fabit combines event-driven financial education, active financial support in everyday life and a behavioral science approach to help users achieve their goals in the long term. "Fabit includes a budget book, facilitates budget planning and makes it possible to store debts and creditors, including communication," explains Dr. Ralf-Michael Schmidt, co-founder of Fabit. "In addition, tips and challenges help users to question and optimize their own consumption and financial habits. With our playful, motivating and behavioral science approach, we support our users in reducing costs and debt while maintaining a high quality of life."
In addition to direct everyday help, Fabit and the Diagonal Group also focus on comprehensive knowledge transfer. "When it comes to receivables management, there is still a lot of educational work to be done," says Schmidt. "We are therefore all the more pleased to have found a partner with more than 25 years of experience and knowledge in the Diagonal Group. Together, we will dispel the most common myths surrounding the topic." Kück adds: "We know from our day-to-day work that consumers rarely know how receivables management works.
